Pav bhaji........Made Easy.
Generally Pav bhaji sabji is prepared by cooked and smashed mixer of carrot,beans, green peas and potato .....but i have tried with only potato.....it tastes good.
Ingredients :
Bread 2 slice or pav 1 nos or bun 2 nos (small)
Ingredients for gravy :
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick (broken into pieces)
Potato medium sized - 4 nos
Onion fine chopps - 1 nos (large)
Tomato fine chopps - 1 nos (large)
Garlic paste- 2 tsp
Turmiric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 2 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt - required
water - required (boiled)
Butter - 3 tbsp +2 tsp
Preparation for gravy :
Heat a kadai and add butter 3 tbsp.
Now add the chopped onions, chopped tomato and garlic paste saute till it gets cooked golden brown.
Now add turmiric powder, chilli powder , dhaniya powder , jeera powder , salt and water for the gravy to cook.
Now add the potato (boiled and smashed) mix well for the ingredients to taste good.
Let it get cooked in medium flame for about 5 to 10 mins( stir now and then).
Now add some chopped coriender leaves ,transfer to a serving bowl n top with butter in the middle.
Serving :
Now toast the bread ( for pav or bun cut in the middle and open it to toast ).
Serve the pav with the gravy ,a lemon slice and some raw copped onions .Just squese the lemon befor you eat and take some onions with the gravy .It will taste delicious.
