Traditional sambar podi.......this is very close to rasam podi......so have an eye with the recipes ....peoples not familiar with the recipe may tend to get confused..... Here it goes.....
Ingredients:
Dry red chilllies - 250 gms
Dhaniya - 100gm
Bengal gram - 50 gms
Thur dal - 50gms
Urad dal - 50gms
Pepper - 50 gms
Fenugreek - 25 gms
Turmeric stick - 50 GMs
Preparation :
Take all the ingredients other than red chilli....and dry roast in a hot pan.Then remove from pan and keep aside to cool.
Now just add one tbsp of sesame oil ....let the oil be hot ....then add.....the red chilli and saute till roast.....then remove of flame and it to cool down.....
No mix all the ingredients..... And get it grinded in a flour mill near your house......
If you want it to grind in mixer grinder at home....alternate turmeric sticks with turmeric powder.
