Stuffed chapathi ( Panner Gobi stuffed )



Ingredients :




For stuffing :

Panner - 250 gms ( grated )
Cauliflower - 250 gms ( grated )
Chilli powder - 2  tbsp + 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2  tbsp + 1/4 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp + 1/2 tbsp
Salt  as required
Onions - 1 no's ( finely chopped )
Tomato - 1 no's  ( finely chopped )
Water - 100 ml




For chapthi :

Wheat flour - 400 gms
Ghee - 1 1/2 tbsp
Salt as required
Water - 200 ml ( boiling water required)
Oil - 1 cup + 1 tsp

Preparation :

Take a large bowl add in wheat flour then salt , ghee and add boiling water and knead to make a soft dough.

Apply oil all over the dough and rest it at least for 1 hour cover it or place it in the air tight container.

Now for the stuffing grate Panner and Cauliflower.



To the grated Paneer and Cauliflower add Chilli powder , Turmeric powder , Garam Masala and salt mix well .

See to that you don't knead it just mix with your fingers .



Next heat up a deep pan and add sliced onions and tomato saute to cook then add ginger garlic paste . Mix well let them cook ,once it is prepared to that add grated and marinated paneer and cauliflower and mix well.




Add one cup of water mix well , cover and leave it in slow flame .

Wait for the Panner and Cauliflower to get cooked . Let all water get absorbed and vegetables are cooked remove it and spread it in a plate so that it is friendly to your hands .

Make small lemon sized balls out of it and finish all the filling.
( Roll tightly since they don't have any binding agent the will tend to break )
Make around a large lemon size ball out of the dough .

Make a small circular disc like of the chapati dough and places the stuffing ball in the middle . Now fold in the dough to cover the stuffing properly.

Then just flat it and roll out with the rolling pin .Dust with maida or whole wheat flour don't roll it very thin make sure that the chapati is the party is at least 1/4 inch of thickness.The diameter not more than your 5 inch.

Get prepared with the stuffed balls.So that only rolling is left over.While the chapthi pan is getting heated up.

This can be cooked with ghee or oil .
Cook like you prepare chapthi.
Since their is no binding agent when you flip take care so that the chapthi does not cut off.

Once you find golden brown dots on both the sides you can remove it similarly finish of the entire chapati dough with the fillings.

Serve this with fresh card and sliced onions it is such a delicious dinner or evening snack .



Very healthy for kids who avoid a lot of vegetables this is absolutely yummy and kids will finish it in no time.

This can be given in kids lunchbox.
It will be tough when you prefer preparing all in the morning.Prepare the stuffing and dough the day before night and fridge it.Must be taken out if the fridge atleast 1 hour before you prepare the stuffed chapthi.
