Millet laddoo







Ingredients :

Kodo millet ( varagu) - 100 gms
Foxtail millet ( thinai ) - 100 gms
Little millet ( saamai) - 100 gms
Barnyard millet (kutharaivali ) - 100 gms
Palm jaggery - 700 gms
Ghee - 100 gms  
(additional amount can be added )
Cardamom powder - 2 pinch
Cashews - 10 no's ( optional)

Preparation :

Dry roast the combined millets.
Now grind them to soft powder.
Make it fine powder
Now take this ground powder in a wide open vessel.
Crush palm jaggery and make powder in food processor.
Now add mentioned amount of palm jaggery to the millet flour.....add cardamom.....
Heat a pan...melt ghee add cashew to get slight brown...now add this to the flour mix in the vessel.
Combine to make laddoo.
Ghee volume can be increased if required.

Note :

If palm jaggery not available .....just go with ordinary jaggery...with same volume.....but sugar is not preferred..
Now start of to make laddoo..
So healthy millet laddu ready....
