homemade Pav Bun recipe


Ingredients :

Milk - 1 cup + 1/4 cup + 1tsp to brush
Yeast - 3 tsp
Sugar - 2 tsp 
Baking powder - 2 tbsp
Maida - 3 cup
Butter - 2 tsp + 1 tsp to brush


Preparation :

To a deep large bowl add warm milk 1 cup , yeast and sugar .
Mix and leave it aside for 5 mins for the yeast to activate.
Now to this add maida and salt ( seive and add )
Mix it well with hands to combine .
It will be tough, now add the remaining 1/4 cup of milk.
Keep kneading the dough will become soft , cover the bowl .
Leave it for 1 hour  it will double in size.
Now punch it and kneed it again.
Make 8 balls out of the dough.
Place them in a greased baking tray ( brush the baking tray with butter ) place them and let it rest for 20 mins .
It will double in size again.
Brush the dough with milk and bake it.
Preheat the oven at 180℃ and bake the pav bun for 20 mins.
Once you take the tray out , quickly brush the buns with butter and cover it with a wet cloth.
Leave it for 20 mins.
Super soft pav buns are ready to serve .

Serve them as pav bhaji , vada pav or however you would like to .
