Masala fingers

A spicy and easy fry that can be prepared in short while.
Yummy kids special recipe.





Ingredients: (4 serving)

Potatoes - 8 (medium sized)
Oil - to fry.

For dusting:
 
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
Chat masala - 1 tsp
Salt as required. 

Preparation:

Try to pick out the long and bold potatoes for this recipe for a presentable look.
Wash and dry the potatoes with a cloth. Peel and cut them into long strips. See to that they are thick like your finger (as they get fried, they shrink so they need to be thick so that they don't break).
Meanwhile let the oil get heated up. So that the marinated potatoes needn't wait, actually they shouldn't as the keep releasing water as they keep releasing water throughout the process until they get fried. Process has to be pretty fast once marinated.
Now after chopping these chopped potatoes do release water dry them again with a kitchen towel.
After drying marinate them with all the mentioned masala's (add only 1 tsp of corn flour here).
Once they are completely coated now add the other 1tsp of corn flour and mix it well.
Now deep fry them until golden brown and serve them hot.
