Most simple and easy in preparation
Taste is perfect , tangy and can't stop with one.
Yummy and so delicious.
Ingredients : ( 4 serving )
Toasted bread - 8 slice
Green chutney - 6 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 6 tbsp
Peas masala - 10 tbsp
Onion slice - 12 slice ( dice to thin rings don't separate )
Tomato slice - 12 slice ( dice to thin slice )
Coriander - 1 cup ( chopped finely )
Curd - 3 tbsp
Sev - 4 tbsp
Preparation :
Peas masala :
Soak dry green peas ( 3 cup ) overnight , pressure cook them for 2 whistle.
Now to a pan add ( 2 tbsp ) of oil , add garam masala ( 1 tbsp ) , Chaat masala ( 1/2 tbsp ) , Chilli powder ( 1 tsp ) , salt to taste mix this in oil ( only after the oil is hot ) now give a quick mix of all masala and add the cooked green peas.
Mix well and let it thicken , remove off flame . Now it's ready to go with the toast
(Can store this in fridge for 3 days )
Green chutney :
To a mixer jar bring in coconut grated ( 2 tbsp ) , a tight closed fist full of coriander & mint leaves , ginger 1 inch , garlic 1 clove pealed , green chilli 1 , lemon juice ( 1/2 fruit extract ) , garam masala ( 1/2 tsp ) , chaat masala ( 1/2 tsp ) , salt to taste .
Grind all to paste ( add water/curd if required - 2 tbsp )
To Assemble Bread Chaat -
To one side of one toast apply tomato sauce , to one side of other toast apply green chutney ( approx 1 1/2 tbsp will be required both tomato sauce & green chutney , not more )
Now place a toast on the plate ( plain side facing the plate )
On top of this spread peas masala ( 2 tbsp approx ) spread evenly .
On top of this place onion and tomato slice
( you can also chop finely and spread )
Now place the other toast ( the plain side facing you )
Once you finish this
to 1tbsp of tomato sauce mix 1/2 tbsp of green chutney and apply over the side of toast facing you.
Now cut it to 4 piece and drizzle curd few drops on each quater.
On top of this garnish sev.
Taste is amazing worth the time you took to prepare this.
