Butter Cookies

This is such a easy peasy recipe. Takes no time at all. This homemade version os far better than anything you can find inbthe tin. The most important part is butter needs to be in room temperature. Such a delicious recipe my kid's all-time favorite. Most prepared and always these ingredients will be in stock. We might need least 30 minutes to complete this. Most important is try to make this balancing the power shutdown in your area. As while half baking the cookies will go out of shape. To add on its just put all ingredients together in bowl, combine, roll and bake no need to refrigerate the cookie dough.

Ingredients:

Icing sugar - 50 gms
Cornflour  - 80 gms
Maida - 80 gms
Butter - 120 gms
Vanilla essence - 2-3 drops

Preperation:

Beat butter ,icing sugar and vanilla essence to look fluffy and soft.

Beat for 2-3 mins. The butter will look pale and soft than before.

To this bring in the cornflour ,maida and combine this with hands. Dont over mix just try to combine them as you combine this will come to a dough like consistency.

The dough will get non sticky.
Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180C.

Get the baking tray ready. Grease the tray and place a parchment paper over it.

Use a spoon to scoop out the dough ,roll and place on the tray.

Place them at atleast three finger space from each other as the dough will flatten will getting baked.

If there is no space they might not look neat in shape.

Flatten them slightly with a fork.

Now ,bake this in the preheated oven for 15-17 mins.

Once they are baked move to the cookies to the cooling rack with the parchment paper.

Transfer them carefully . Wait for atleast 5 mins and then transfer.

Let them completely cool down .
Stays good in shelf for a week. They do stay for 2 weeks but the cookies will get over in 3-4 days for sure.

The above mentioned volume can give you 25 cookies.

You can replace wheat flour , do add few drops of milk to bring the dough together.
Add in drops not in spoons.

Happy Baking.

Note:
No need to refrigerate the dough.
