veg dry curry
This is a dry curry with vegetables like carrot , beans , cauliflower , capsicum .....this goes good with any indian bread....This is very nutritive because we dont boil this ....we steam them ...........
Ingredients :
Beans - 250 grms
Carrot - 250 gms
Cauliflower - 250 gms
Capsicum - 1 large
Tomato - 1 large
Cumin - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt - required
Preparation :
Cut beans at 1 inch .Carrot sliced then into half each.Capsicum into squares . Cauliflower into medium pieces . Tomato into fine chops.
Method :
Heat a kadai add oil to it.When the oil is hot add cumin to it , let it splutter . Now add tomato then cover it and lower the flame , let the tomato cook well.
Now add the vegetables carrot , beans , cauliflower cover it in low flame and leave for 5 mins then open and mix it well. Keep doing this still the vegetables are cooked well. Then add the capsicum and cover it. Dont add water let them cook in steam covered , the vegetables will leave water . Wait still the water gets dry.
Now add Jeera powder , Chilli powder ,Dhaniya powder , Turmeric powder and salt . Now mix the added masala and vegetables . Just sprinkle some water for the masala to add well. Leave it for 5 mins for the masala to cook.
Now the curry is ready to eat with any indian bread.
