Aloo Gobi gravy......an excellent side for any Indian bread or.....chapathi ..pulao.....




Ingredients :

Potatoes - 4 
Cauliflower - 1 
Onion - 2 cut into cubes
Tomato - 2 cut into cubes
Green chilli - 1 (slit into two
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Cashew - 4 no's broken
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cloves - 1
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Dhaniya powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
Kasuri methi - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 
Oil - 4 tbsp
Butter -1 tbsp
Water - 200 ml

Preparation :

Cauliflower to be cooked in open vessel....cut them in to small size flowers.... A lemon size....then drop in boiling water...cook til they are transparent. Then drain the water..... Because their may be  dead worms in it .... from cauliflower.

Potato's cut them into size matching cauliflower... And cook for 3 vissle. Then remove from water....water to be drained and peal off the  potatoes.

Heat a pan...add oil 3tbsp oil....wait to get the oil hot...now add Cinnamon.... And cloves.....then ginger garlic paste... Saute till they are light brown... Then add onion cubes and tomato cubes,cashews.....and green chilli .....saute them well till oil comes out..... Then let it cool and grind a Smooth paste of it....

Now heat 1 tbsp oil and add Kasuri methi to get saute and add the smooth paste and add chilli powder, dhaniya powder, turmeric powder and salt....and mix well....then add a 200 ml of water..... Let it boil  and become half the volume of it....now add the cooked cauliflower and potato ....stir well cook in slow flame for 2-3 minutes.....finaly add garam masala.....mix well .......Add in some coriander and mix well....

Now its ready to serve.....just drop in a  tbsp of  butter when you serve.....

You can add in capsicum... At the end and cover the dish.....don't cook capsicum.... Its cooking time is very less enough ....itl get cooked in the heat removed of flame.....capsicum to be cut into the same size as you've cut other veggies
