Bread Halwa


Preparation time : 15 minutes 

Serves -  4 people 

Ingredients :

Plain bread - 10 slice ( remove the edges )
Milk - 1 tumbler
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamon powder - 1 pinch
Cashew - 10 no's
Ghee - 3 tbsp

Preparation :

Take milk in a bowl.....soak bread and keep the dipped bread in a separate bowl....blend with hands to make smooth paste of this milk soaked bread .

Heat a Kadai......add 1 tbsp ghee.... then add milk and sugar........and mix well for sugar to dissolve ....now add bread blended......keep stirring.....flame to be maintained low...... after 5 minutes add 1 tbsp of ghee...

You can find the ghee added surfacing on the layer....by then you can remove off flame..... before you remove..add cardamon Powder.....and mix well....

Heat a Kadai....add ghee 1 tbsp....add cashew...saute to golden brown....and add to prepared halwa.......

Serve hot.....it's melting.....

Note :
 This halwa will not absorb much ghee....so do not add more...

Can be shelfed for a day ...and in fridge for 2 - 3 days
