A yummy recipe.......the recipe holds maida as main ingredient...this can be replaced by an healthy Ingredient..... WHEAT... it taste as good as the maida based dilpasand.....do try healthy version for kids.
INGREDIENTS :
Warm water - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 1/2 tbsp
Yeast - 2 tbsp
Maida - 1cup
Salt - 1 pinch.

STUFFING :
Tutti frutti - 200 gms
Grated coconut - 1 cup ( fresh )
Dry fruits ( mixed ) - 1 cup
Cardamon powder - 1 pinch
Grated coconut - 1 cup ( fresh )

PREPARATION :
Take a medium bowl and add warm water to it ....now mix in sugar and yeast...and set it aside for 10 minutes....it will raise.
Take a large bowl and sieve in maida...and make a small bowl like impression in the middle of the flour...and pour in the yeast mix...and knead the dough...
It has to be bit sticky and apply oil all over the dough and keep it aside for an hour...cover with air tight lid ....or cover with a sling sheet.
After an hour the dough will be raised ( double the volume ).....and now transfer to a plain surface ...dust some maida and knead the dough to make it non sticky....
Now divide the dough into two equal portions.....
Roll out circles of both portion....each of 1/4" thickness disc....of large circle.
Take one circle.... and start to fill in the stuffing and stop 1 cm from the circumference.
Now place the other circle on top of the stuffing and fold the two plain edges of both circle to seal the stuffing.....
Now to make designed edges....jus prick with fork...or press with hands...
Don't make it thin... maintain the same thickness throughout the surface .
Now brush with butter on top .
