INGREDIENTS :
Thenai (FOXTAIL MILLET ) - 3 tbsp
Varagu (KODO MILLET) - 3 tbsp
Saami (LITTLE MILLET ) - 3 tbsp
Kutharavali (BANYARD MILLET) - 3 tbsp
Paasi Parupu (MOONG DAL ) - 3 tbsp (optional)
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/2 tumbler
Condensed milk - 1tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Cashew - 8 no's (broken)
Water - 3 tumblers
PREPERATION :
Take all millets and Moong dal in a bowl.
Heat up the kadai. Meanwhile heat water to boil on another side.
Dry roast the millets and Moong dal in it. Roast to smell the aroma.
Now once the aroma raises, immediately transfer to a bowl and rinse it with water (drain water throughly).
Now add the rinsed grains to boiling water.
Let it boil till the edges of the grains split.
Add Jaggery to the cooked grains and let the Jaggery melt.
Time to add milk and turn of flame.
Add a pinch of Cardamom powder.
Then ghee roasted Cashew.(to be avoided while feeding babies & advised to feed kids only if they are practiced to chew it)
