Butter - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to fry - 2 1/2 cup
PREPERATION :
Heat up oil in a large pan.
This Ribbon Pakoda will consume more space.
To the Murukku maker add a ball of dough ( approx 3/4 th of the Murukku maker not more than that, only then you can press the maker to squeeze the dough out).
Now time for preparation, for beginners you can oil the back of the ladle and squeeze out on the ladle and jus flip it on to the oil (slowly), let it get fried. Wait until one side is golden brown jus flip it to the other side and again wait for the bubbles to come down. Once the bubbles reduce , remove the Ribbons off the oil and rest them on a tissue paper.
Once it's cooled transfer to airtight container.
Note :
if you find the dough too tight you can sprinkle few drops of water and bring it to chapthi dough consistency for easy squeeze out. This could make softer Ribbon Pakoda's for kids.

PRECAUTION's:
The most important thing is do not keep kids around. Do it when they are asleep or let them in someone's supervision ( reliable) and then get into the preparation.
Pan of hot oil is absolutely dangerous. Yourself while preparing need to be more cautious on this.... sometimes when beginners try to directly squeeze into oil, your hands may slip of and drop the Murukku maker into hot oil. By then jus switch off the flame and wait for the oil to come down to room temperature.
Never try to pick out the Murukku maker from the boiling oil, even the Murukku maker will be damn hot, not friendly for hands.
Making a mistake is not wrong!!!... being safe is what all want.
So please be safe while prepare!!!.
