Curd vadai.....thier vadai..






Ingredients 

Urad dal - 1 tumbler
Curd fresh ( to be beaten to milky consistency) - 4 tumbler
Milk : 1 cup
Green chilli - 1 fine chops
Ginger - 1 tbsp fine chops
Coriander - 1 tbsp fine chops
Curry leaves - 1 tbsp fine chops
Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp 
Mustard - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Preparation

Vadai ( ulundhu vadau) :

Soak 1 tumbler of urad for one hour .

Drain all water and grind it.

Do not add water when you grind.

Now heat about 2 cups of oil in a kadai.....then take the flour...you may need a plastic sheet or foil paper....

Wipe the paper with water ...wet your hands....Drop a ball of flour on the paper....make a small hole in the middle of the dough you've dropped..... Jus take and bend the sheet .....the dough will drop on your hand( hands to be wet) .....see to that the hole is there....then drop  in hot oil...turn now and then....when golden brown.....take a fork pork all the sides of vadai and keep it aside

Now take the beaten curd in a wide flat open bowl.

Pour the curd..,...heat oil in a pan temper mustard & asafoetida.... And add to curd.....now add chopped ginger,green chilli, coriander, curry leaves and mix well add salt.......just check the taste of salt......if required add lill bit more mix well again you check the salt.....

Now dip the vadai in hot milk and drop on the prepared curd.....

When you serve.....take a single piece ....top with fresh coriander... And boondhi if interested......
