Poori ....crispy out and yet soft inside..




Ingredients :

Wheat flour - 1 tumbler
Water - 1/2 tumbler
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 cups ( to fry)

Preparation :

Take a wide open vessel.... Put on wheat flour,salt.....and add water.... Kneed well to make soft dough.......

Dough to be prepared just 10 minutes before we cook poori.

Now heat a kadai....pour in the oil.....let it get heated...,meanwhile let's prepare the poori to cook.....

We can make 5 balls out if the quantity I have given....make balls of even size....

Take poori presser...you get this online  (image of poori presser at the end of recipe)
.....apply oil on both the faces of poori presser....and place the ball in between.... And close the top...and press with the Handel....now you will get a thick round...of 1/5
inch thickness  and about  4 inch on diameter....this it right to make poori....remove from presser and drop on oil ...drop from the side of kadai.....see to. That you don't drop in the middle....and spill boiling oil on your hand or out....please be careful....beginners hav some one beside you ... 

One's you drop it just give a gentle press with a spatula on the top layer of it.....to bring out a layer......soon after it turn around.... And when its a golden shade....remove off flame and serve hot....

This poori presser is ideal to make poori...... It works excellent.
