Ingredients :
Onion - 2 large cut to cubes
Tomato - 2 large cut to cubrd
Ginger - 3 inch cut to cubes
Garlic - 6 cut to cubes
Cinnamon - 3 inch
Cloves - 3 no's
Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Dhaniya powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Potatoes - 2 medium
( boiled pealed and mashed )
Panner - 200gms
( bring to room temperature cut to cubes and again put it to refrigerator )
Green peas - 2 cups
Butter - 4 tbsp
Coriander - 2 tbsp
( clean wash and cut to fine chops)
Preparation :
Heat a kadai...melt butter 3 tbsp....now add cinnamon, cloves,then add onion toss till they become transparent... Then add tomato and ginger garlic... Toss well.... At low flame....add salt ...mix well...then cover and leave ..,..open and stir now and then....at a very stage you can find thebshinny butter getting stick on to the walls of the vessel....at this stage ...remove off flame ....set to cool ....and make smooth paste of it.....
Now heat a kadai ....add 1/2 tbsp of butter when melted add Kasuri methi... Toss ...then add mashed potatoes, then the smooth paste prepared..... Now add about 1 tumbler of water .. .then chilli powder, dhaniya powder, turmeric powder and salt and leave in low flame for masala to cook .
Meanwhile let's boil green peas in a vessel to cook....just add sufficient water ...because we can't drain the water boiled ....coz it will contain nutrition of green peas...we will add the green peas with water to the gravy getting ready...
Now take Panner cut and kept in fridge...
When masala cooked well..and been peas cooked add green peas with water to the gravy ...and again it boil....now at a stage you can find the gravy getting thicken ...now add garam masala.....stop remove off flame and add Panner....add coriander leaves and stir well....
Now serve with butter toped ..can top 1/2 tbsp of butter..
Goes good with...any pulao , jeera rice,any kinda Indian bread,chapathi.....
Note :
Its better to buy Panner on the day we prepare.
