Manga pachadi




Ingredients :

Parrot beak mango  - 1 mango
( killi mooku maanga) 
Jaggery - 3/4 th of mrng size
Mustard - 1 tsp
Broken urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Preparation :

Wash and wipe mango the previous day night....then at time of preparation.... Peal skin....and slice mango to fine slices....

Add the sliced mango and water jus to immerse.... And pressure cook for 1 whistle.....

Ones pressure down open and...add chilli powder, turmeric powderand salt ......let it boil.......boil till raw smell leaves...then add jaggery....

(Note:
Jaggery to be added at the end else....mango won't get cooked)

Now heat oil in a kadai..... Add mustard to split..then add split urad dal....and curry leaves ....and add to the cooking mango.

Serve with any kinda south Indian dish like....sambar rice, any kinda puli kozhambu.....it's simply yummy in taste...
