Ingredients:
Onion ( pealed and washed ) - 30 No's
Red chilli - 7 no's
Tamarind - 2 inch
Salt to taste
Preparation:
I use grinding stone to prepare this chutney......
First soak red chilli and tamarind in hot water 1/2 hour prior you grind them.....
Now remove water and take only red chilli and tamarind.....
First place red chilli , tamarind and grind to smooth paste... Plz be careful .....since we hav soaked red chilli in water...it would have absorbed water and bit swollen....if you use a grinding stone ...place the rolling Stone on your side and red chilli on the other side.... So that when you crush...the water in it will splash out on the other end...not on you..all...else your day is over with burning sensation....
Now make smooth paste and add salt and again paste it....
And now add onions one buy one and paste them ...you can split the chutney into two slots.....after grinding a handful of it remove and transfer to a clean dry container...... And again grind the rest of onion......and now add this to the first portion and mix well for them to be even in taste......
Now serve with gingelly oil.....since its damn spicy... We can't hold the devil spicy....to calm down we need to add gingelly oil......
When serving to children's .....mother's plz don't serve more....it will result in stomach upset....
Its awesome with dosa... Idly......
