Rice flakes kheer /aval payasam



Ingredients :

Rice flakes ( fine beaten ) - 2 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Condensed milk - 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Edible camphor  - 4  - 5  granules
( pacha karpooram ) 
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Cashew - 5 no's ( broken)
Dry grapes - 10 no's

Preparation :

Heat a kadai......and dry roast rice flakes.... The flat nature will start to twist......when you find this happening.... Remove them....they will be hand crushable.... Just crush...and keep aside.

Now in a thick bottom vessel heat water and milk.....when they boil....instantly add the roasted rice flakes.......then give a stir and leave in low flame....

Now heat a kadai add ghee.....soon after the ghee melts....add cashew to golden brown and remove it in a plate.....then add dry grapes to ghee...they will  become fluffy...remove in t same plate..and keep aside....

To boiling kheer add sugar and cardamom powder.... Wait for it to reduce to 3/4 of actual volume.....add condensed milk...... And cashew ,dry grapes.....and stir good...and  remove from flame......then add edible camphor....

Serve hot....

The best part of this kheer...is probably no one can find....out of what you have made this kheer.....but will enjoy the taste....
