Palak Panner


Ingredients :

Palak - 1 bunch
Panner - 200 gms
Onion - 1 no's fine chops
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp 
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Fresh cream - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cloves - 4 no's
Bay leaf - 1/4 of one leaf
Oil - 3 tsp
Ghee - 3 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation :

Heat a pan add ghee and toast panner cubes to golden fry for gud taste.....but this is optional you can avoid this step.

For palak .......boil water and add clean fresh palak....and let it boil for 3 minutes ....so that it'll get cooked....then drain water and add rinse through cold water .....then blend in food processor..... For smooth paste....keep aside

Now to the cooking part...

Heat oil and add ghee soon after it melts.....add cinnamon ,cloves , cumin seeds ....let the aroma smell then add ginger garlic paste..... Saute to cook then add onion... Saute to get transparent..... Then add chilli powder... Turmeric powder and salt......

Now saute them all to cook...then add palak puree.......let it in slow flame for 5-6 minutes to cook.....them add fresh cream stir and cook for 3 minutes..... And add garam masala.....and remove from flame......

In a serving bowl place Panner and pour the palak prepared..... Then cover......serve hot....

Goes well with any kinda Indian bread....
