For a twist......I have replaced cornflour with rice flour......and of course it's perfect in taste.....not less than restaurant style.....😛
It's simply easy to prepare.....
Preparation time - 30 minutes
Serve - 4
Ingredients:
Mushroom - 2 packs
Onion - 1 medium size finely chopped
Garlic - 4 cloves finely chopped
Ginger - 1 inch finely chopped
Green chilli - 1 large or 2 small finely chopped
Green bell pepper - 1/4 finely chopped
Spring onions - 2 tbsp finely chopped
Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 3 tbsp
Ingredients for batter & frying:
Maida / all purpose flour - 4 tbsp
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 cup
Water to mix batter.
Preparation :
Get ready with batter Ingredients in a bowl....
Mix water to thick dosa batter consistency....
Keep aside..... meanwhile heat a deep pan with oil in it to deep fry.
The batter looks like in picture....
Cleaning of mushroom :
Remove stem.....and if the gills are gray....jus use it.....or If you find it dark gray ....do remove the gills....
Size is up to your preference.....it can be full or cut to two half's....or four......
Do not wash mushroom prior....it has a tendency to become soggy.....
So wash it just before you mix it in batter.....the batter prepared will be enough to mix all the mushroom you have at once...
This is when you are immediately going to fry it.....
After washing drain all water and mix in batter....there will be left over batter after completing all ....
Now coming back to the recipe......fry in batches.......
When you take mushroom off the batter.....dip well enough and ...then drop it into the preheated oil.....
Remove from oil when golden brown....
And repeat this till you finish the whole lot of mushroom you have....
They look yummy soon after frying...i did gobble one....😜
Now heat a pan with oil .....( you can reuse the oil you used to fry )
Now when the oil is hot....add... garlic chops ....saute to get fragrance...then ginger.....then onion and green chillies......and add salt required to this....add pepper powder.....then soya sauce... and tomato sauce..... saute for a minute......all to be done fast in high flame....
Now add fried mushroom to it.....saute well.....till all mix well.....
Then add green bell pepper chops...
.mix .
Finally when you remove off flame add spring onions and saute well..
Serve hot with....pulao....fried rice....or a starter.....
Yummy taste mushroom Manchurian in perfect restaurant taste......
