Mixed fruit jam
Papaya , banana , pineapple , apple are the four fruits i used in this recipe.
A very simple and of course a like much time consuming while it's gets cooked.
Stays good for 3 - 5 months in fridge .
Ingredients :
Papaya - 1 large
Pineapple - 1 large
Banana - 3 medium
Apple - 1 large
Sugar - 1: 1/2 ratio
Like juice - 1 fruit extract
Preparation :
Peel the fruits grind them to pulp.
Now measure the pulp take 1/2 the quantity of sugar.
Say for example the pulp measures 4 cups take 2 cups of sugar - this is 1 : 1/2 ratio.
Now heat thick bottom pan and add the pulp to it .
Once it's hot , pretty boiling add sugar and like lime juice.
Leave this in low flame stir it now and then.
The pulp will thicken , it takes approx 1 hour .
Now switch off the flame and let it cool down completely .Now transfer it to a clean ,dry bottle and store it in fridge for
3-5 months.
Goes good with bread toast , chapati and you can also make this a part of your cake recipes.
